Hello Crazybob and thanks for coming by :)
Despite the fact that it is an old server with obsolete features, it remains one of the best samp servers still alive to this day.

You have built such an incredible community around this game and it's definitely one of the greatest gaming experiences i've ever had in my gaming life.
Still if it doesn't really change much to you, i suggest you keeping it alive as long as possible, as there is still a strong base of players on GTA SA and this server especially.
If not possible to keep CnR alive it would be great to get some downloadable stuff like the source code and everything related to the game and community in general (forums, images, etc.) at least to somehow keep the legacy alive!

As to myself, i've sadly had trouble with admins and stuff, and got kicked out of the game unfairly, but i'm still thankful for you making this possible.
You have made for me the ideal SAMP server to play with. I've tried many different experiences aside this server but nothing was as good as this one, even that CnR: NG thing that they're trying to do.

I wish i could do more to help keeping this lovely server alive, technically and community wise. It means so much to me even after all the things that happened to me and other players.
I was hoping that would happen in some form but sadly i'm not the one in charge and it's been clearly explained that it will likely not happen ever.
For 10 years it's been one of my favourite games and im still hoping to get back into it before it closes someday.

=============================================

Crazybob i'm devastated to hear that CnR is potentially going to die after all those years...
Crazybob, i totally get it that you got bored after years of investment and decided to move on. And you are totally right!
You could've even unplugged the servers with your departure and all of this EPIC would've never happened.
But hopefully you did the right thing and money wasn't a problem, so thanks to someone like you we were able to keep playing this gem for a decade, and that is priceless for me.
But this decision was also the moment where CnR started to downfall. As the captain left the ship, the others started to do something different in various ways, including selecting an administration corrupted by power and greed.
The responsibles for the CnR downfall are the admins and the players themselves. A red line have been crossed a long time ago, and almost nobody is willing to heklp imprve things, which made what happens today inevitable in the long run.
Cheaters and DMers had open field to evolve and prosper without incidents.
This is what led to the downfall of this server in my opinion.
Crazybob, you said that is technically difficult to maintain such server alive, but it's also cheaper than modern games and can be migrated on a better place if you are willing to.
If you have the possibility either to kill or keep living this server, i'm still choosing option #2.
People who are bored and don't want to play anymore can leave, why not into the CnR NG pale copy.
But there are still a solid base of players willing to help improve and keep this game on for the years to come.
Even myself who had to get through (bad incidents) i'm ready to help in many ways.
I know donations won't cover server costs, that daily connects won't probably go over 50, but we can still make things right with a few tweaks through the administration and community.
Those who want to move on can go, and you can bring brand new and fresh admins and technical/forums support who are willing to help and get invested.
Crazybob, please do not let this game die!
SACNR is a gem that doesn't cost that much nowadays and can run fine on many potato PCs
If i have to choose between keeping this game server or cnr ng, i'd choose CBCNR without hesitation!
I've heard that if you decide to shut it off, everything will disappear with it.
At least give us something to play with if things go down!
Why not share the source code or a part of it so we can use it as a base for something similar that will keep the legacy alive?
Why not propose a singleplayer mod of it so we can play and test things on our own?
Are you going to take down website and forums too? I think there should be a download available somehow to keep all those memories intact!
Crazybob, this is your baby and you can do something. You are the boss, the chief. If you really want to it's possible, and it's not a question of money for you (thank god!).
Admins change, new members, technical tweaks and improvements (SAMP R5 released btw), why not going further by migrating to the open-source SAMP they're making?
I know there's people out there willing to keep playing and help. I'm one of those people. But in the end it remains in your hands to decide.
I hope that a solution will be found to keep this game alive, even if most of people got bored and moved on.
Personally i don't want to move on, not just yet. I have still so many things to live, share and play through CnR, and i don't want it to stop, not now.
I'm not done with this game yet.
I've tried many servers on many platforms. And old or modern there's no other server like this one. It's my special spot, i just feel good coming here.
Losing this gem would be like losing a member of my family, or my cat. I'd be deeply depressed and getting anxiety for decades.
No other gaming experience compares to what i'm living with CnR. Even if most of you moved on, i'm still willing to play it for the years to come.
I'm begging you to keep CnR alive for more years. Who knows what can happen with time and investment?
I'm so frustrated to see this awful management and corruption and can do nothing about it. I'm sure that in better circumstances, this server would still be at the top!
Let me know if i can help in any way. If you decide to cut it off brutally, i hope that there will be a little something for the players that have been there since over a decade.
I'll be forever thankful to you for making this game and keeping it alive. You definitely inspired many others through the internet, even the R* developers themselves.
I wish you could've stayed more into CnR anyway, as it probably wouldn't have been this mess through the admins and community if you remained the captain of the boat.
I wanna also thank the remaining good admins and players who still care and have been nice to me and others, for years. We've shared so many EPIC memories and fun through this game, some of us even met in real life and became friends!
This remains even to this day one of my most memorable gaming experiences ever. I'm so glad to have been part of this community since the very beginning, as crooked as it is now sadly, it will forever have a special place in my heart, and i'm not ready to let this go already, especially when there's a possibility to avoid it.

Thank you!
